STONE COTTAGE RESTORATION

Stone Cottage Restoration. This was a renovation of an old stone cottage with a new large wrap-around extension to the side and rear. This made the original cottage into the sitting room, while providing all the other living accommodation such as the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms accommodated in the new extension. The original stone walls were fully restored and pointed, the once gable end and rear of the original build, became a feature wall inside the kitchen, which creates a really tasteful old-meets-new look. We chose flooring and paint colours sympathetically, to tie in with the colours and textures found within the natural stone wall. The result has been a very organic, earthy and textural home that feels very restful with soulful vibes.
