Farrow & Ball – Old white no.4
The colour i am obsessing about today and sharing with you is Farrow & Ball’s Old White No.4
It is the most historic of all F&B’s whites and what excites me yet again about another so called white is that its not really very white at all
With no exception even in the whites, just like all Farrow & Ball colours, they show different hues throughout the course of the day as the light depicts.
Old White is a soft and gentle putty colour with a green undertone. It will look predominantly more greigey green in North facing rooms and then more putty in South facing rooms or areas where the light is shining directly on.
It is a mid-tone hue that feels sophisticated wherever it is used. It looks stunning on walls, woodwork, kitchen cabinets and panelling)
