Old White by Farrow & Ball
The colour i am obsessing about today and sharing with you is Farrow & Ball’s Old White No.4 😘 It is the most historic of all F&B’s whites and what excites me yet again about another so called white is that its not really very white at all 😂 Im going to do quite a few of these off whites because really and truly they are just fascinating. The colours show different hues throughout the course of the day as the light depicts.
Old White is a soft and gentle green with a strong greige aspect. It will look predominantly more green in North facing rooms and then more grey in South facing rooms or areas where the light is shining directly on.
It is a mid-tone hue that feels sophisticated wherever it is used. It looks stunning on walls, woodwork, kitchen cabinets and particularly panelling 😘 (Is there any colour that doesn’t look amazing on panelling? Or is panelling just amazing? 😆)
