FARROW AND BALL PURBECK STONE

Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone nO.75

I just love love love this colour from Farrow & Ball, it is simply one of my favourites.
A classical understated stone colour. The perfect mix of grey and beige bringing us the ‘go to’ in Greige’s with FARROW & BALL PURBECK STONE No.75′

I’m thinking about this colour today because I recommended it yesterday to use on a pine fireplace, to contrast and complement what will soon be an excitingly entirely Hague blue sitting room.

It’s often on my mind as a go to for woodwork, as it can be used in the place of a black or white grounding colour to tie a colour scheme together. Airy, timeless, sophisticated and versatile, it would be quicker to list where you can’t use this colour than it would to list where you can! From walls, skirting, doors and kitchens cabinets to front doors, exterior walls and even sheds! There is simply no where that this colour doesn’t work. 🙌 The only question about this colour that I haven’t yet been able to answer to myself is; Do I prefer it on walls or on wood? What’s your vote?
